Cake Serving Guide.jpg

How Much Cake do I Need?

You want enough cake... but not too much. Like there is such a thing as "too much" cake!

A typical party size slice of cake is cut 2" x 2" which a wedding cake is typically cut into 1" x 2" size slices.

Round cakes can be tricky to cut in order to ensure that you get enough slices of cake. My favorite way is to cut straight across the cake, and using a cutting board help the large slice of cake to be laid flat. You can then easily cut this slice of cake into the smaller pieces needed for your guests!
